There is a flurry of activity (and emails!) this week as the eleven missionaries to Cuba pack and re-pack. Going to Cuba on Saturday (and scheduled to meet curbside at the airport at 4:15 a.m.) are: Ashley and Wes Alden, Pam DeLaureal, Kate and Gary Elkins, Janet and Thomas Favrot, Jerry Goode, the Network Coordinator for Living Waters in Cuba, Wil Howie, the founder and Executive Director of Living Waters, Laura St. Clair and Ann Van Horn.
A couple of Saturdays ago, Laura St. Clair and Ann Van Horn presented information about Living Waters to the ladies in attendance at the Presbyterian Women of Presbytery of South Louisiana Spring Gathering. We were touched to receive a check and a letter this week from Edie Slaton, the Moderator of PW for PSL, saying that the offering collected that day was designated for use in support of SCAPC's Living Waters Installation project at El Fuerte Church in Cuba. Thank you, Ladies!
If all goes well with internet access in Cuba, I will be publishing reports next week keeping SCAPC members updated on our progress.
